Rates for Assessments

Developmental Evaluation

$3000-4000

These evaluations for young children (2-5) are designed to assess various aspects of a child’s functioning (cognition, behavior, social, communication, motor and sensory abilities, as well as adaptive skills), often to determine the presence of a developmental disability. Assessment of the family and the child's environment also provides important contextual information.

Psychoeducational Assessment

$3500-4500

Psychoeducational assessments can clarify diagnoses and help parents understand symptoms such as poor grades, low test scores, test anxiety, difficulty focusing and paying attention, an inability to understand directions or carry out a task to completion. In turn, we help to create a more comprehensive treatment plan.

Neuropsychological Evaluation

$4500-5500

Neuropsychological evaluations are often used to gather greater detail in cognitive, academic, and attentional functioning. They helps to better understand the extent to which various aspects of brain functioning is impacting the presenting difficulty.  This could include Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disabilities and social communication disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Social and Emotional Functioning

$2500-3000

We evaluate the social skills and higher level language that students need to interact successfully in everyday situations at home, school, and in the community. Additionally, we examine the extent to which certain problematic behaviors are occurring and how similar a child's functioning is to his/her peers.

Rates for Therapeutic Consultation

At-Home Behavioral Support

$400 for 60 minutes

When high levels of conflict are present, it can be advantageous to work with a family in their home. This allows us to identify overt and subtle patterns of behavior and response that perpetuate a cycle.  The process starts with a period of observation. New coping or parenting skills are then taught, implemented, and monitored to enable the family to avoid escalations in the future and resolve problems more effectively.

Monthly Parent Training

$375 for 60 minutes

Whether your child is attending therapy sessions or you are simply in need of therapeutic support, we can provide in-person or virtual consultation for any of your parenting questions and concerns. Specific parenting courses may also be offered at various points throughout the year.

Consultation with School

$95 for 15 minutes

Through an IEP or by parent request, we offer individualized support for school staff to help manage behavioral and emotional needs of your child such as:

  • School avoidance/anxiety
  • Disruptive Behavior
  • Trauma-informed practices
  • Social skills group framework
  • Parent Counseling/Training

Attending CSE/504 Meetings

$300 per meeting

We are available to attend CSE/504 meetings to review the student’s programming, provide suggestions for changes or amendments, or offer direct behavior support and training for school personnel.

Insurance

While we do not bill insurance companies directly, if you have a PPO or another plan that allows you to select an out-of-network provider, you may be eligible for reimbursement.  While you are responsible for payment at the time of service, we can assist reimbursement by directly submitting a billing statement to your insurance company on your behalf.

Insurance benefits (e.g. deductibles and coinsurance) can vary significantly according to plan and employer.  Your employer may also revise your benefits during the course of treatment.  For this reason, we recommend verifying the extent of your out-of-network mental health (aka “behavioral health”) benefits prior to consultation as well as tracking any changes in coverage regularly thereafter.

Sliding Scale

We offer a sliding scale for a certain number of individuals who are experiencing financial hardship due to job loss, illness, lack of mental health coverage, or difficult life circumstances.  It is important to us that individuals do not hesitate to engage in therapy services due to their concern about ability to pay.  We are passionate about mental health care being available to everyone, so please do contact us with your concerns.

We can only support a limited number of appointment slots for patients on a sliding scale at this time. If no sliding scale appointment slots are available, you will be placed on a waitlist until space opens, after which you will be contacted to set up an intake.
